Roots in Hops

Prior to 1940 hops were hand picked by an army of manual labor. Florian Dauenhauer invented the first mechanical hops harvester, leading the industry in hops harvesting for the rest of his life. His company, Dauenhauer Manufacturing is to this day, the worlds premiere hops harvesting equipment manufacturer. This is the story of his legacy and farmers who have used Dauenhauer’s equipment for generations.
